Radlett residents are being given the opportunity to join a unique club which helps elderly people with their health and wellbeing.
The Joy Club is a membership website for people aged 65 and over that supports its members to afford a more active and joyful retirement.
Claire Riddle, a Radlett resident who is the partner acquisition manager, said: “It was founded Hannah Thomson, who was inspired to set up the company after witnessing the deteriorating health of her granny, Jean, after she was diagnosed with dementia.
“This experience made Hannah realise that, as a society, we’re not doing enough to support people in later life. She wanted to create something that would support the health and wellbeing of those at retirement age in a bid to improve healthy life expectancy.
