A group of Pinner councillors are working to improve safety at a junction in the village where several accidents have taken place.
The junction at Uxbridge Road and Blythwood Road has been the scene of several incidents in recent months.
Together with the Harrow Council Traffic Management Team, Leader of the council Paul Osborn and councillor Kuha Kumaran visited the junction to carry out an inspection.
Speaking to PINNERnews, cllr Kumaran said: “We have had a number of incidents on that junction; it’s a very awkward junction and there’s also a lot of schoolchildren that cross there.
“I have received more than 40 emails from residents about it and it is on the agenda.
“During August, we had about three incidents on that same junction. We are on the ball and I’m sure there will be some sort of consultation.”
