A man from Kings Langley has been charged with assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
Dwane Ryan, 48, of Station Road, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 30, over two charges of sexual assault on a female.
The charges are for incidents that occurred in the Borough of Enfield on April 17, 2022, when the victim was aged 14.
It is alleged that Ryan intentionally touched a girl “and that touching was sexual when she did not consent”.
Court documents also say he “did not reasonably believe that she was consenting” for both charges.
Ryan is listed as having either pleaded not guilty or not entered a plea.
Following the hearing, Ryan was released on bail with conditions.
He is due to appear in Wood Green Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on Wednesday, October 30.
