The Ruislip-Northwood Flower Arrangement Society (RNFAS) will host a new demonstration day next month and is encouraging visitors to attend.
Floral design, or flower arrangement, is a long-standing art dating all the way back to Ancient Egypt. It involves a person putting together plant materials and flowers to create eye-catching and aesthetically pleasing displays.
The demonstration day is set to take place at Fairfield Church Hall on Windsor Close, Northwood, on Tuesday, May 7. Doors will open at 7pm, with the demonstration set to begin at 7.30pm.
The expert demonstrator will be Robin White, who will show participants how to make floral designs to help spruce up your home and/or garden.
Entry for visitors and new members of the RNFAS is £10 per person. The evening will also include a flower raffle and refreshments during the interval.
