Hertfordshire Police have issued an update following investigations into the death of a man in his 40s who was found in a car in Hemel Hempstead on Sunday, August 14.
The ambulance service alerted the police to the death outside the four-storey block of flats at Bohemia off Queensway on Sunday afternoon. Police officers were on duty Monday morning and large black barriers were placed around the car.
A police spokesperson said: “Detectives are investigating an unexpected death having been called to Bohemia, Hemel Hempstead, at 4.18pm on Sunday 14th
A follow-up statement on Friday, August 19 revealed: “Two men have since been arrested on suspicion of blackmail in connection with the incident and have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.”
“We cannot comment any further at this time.”
