Two sisters who go to school in Kings Langley have taken home gold medals in a prestigious national competition.
Sienna Osbourne, 13, and Blu-Belle Johnson, nine, both won gold in the Oxford Opens Competition in June, with Sienna completing a clean skate.
In July, the duo then went on to pass their Skill Moves Level 1 test, both passing at a standard above a pass.
Speaking to Kings News, mum Rebeccah said they continue to be extremely proud of both the girls.
She said: “There were around 30 other competitors in that group, so for the girls to win is absolutely incredible; it’s just such a lovely experience.
“We always say that there’s no pressure, just go and have the best time; they just come alive, it’s so emotional to watch.”
Blu-Belle then went on to compete in the Young Stars competition in Sheffield and came second in her category made up of elite skaters from across the country.
Rebeccah said: “She went out there and she was absolutely incredible, we are just so proud of her for coming second.
“Myself, Greg, Carly and Sam at 121coaching are incredibly proud of these achievements, both girls are proving to be a real inspiration on the ice to others.”
Blu-Belle is next due to compete at the Young Stars competition in November.
