A large fire broke out yesterday evening (May 17) in Watford.
Firefighters were called to Leavesden after flames were spotted by neighbours.
Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue were called shortly before 8.30pm to reports of a shed fire in the High Road.
Two fire engines, from Watford and Garston fire stations were sent to the scene, where crews found the large shed alight, with the fire affecting neighbouring gardens.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue said: “Firefighters had extinguished the fire by 9pm, but remained on the scene until 9:50pm to damp down the scene. The fire is believed to have started accidentally.”
