Hornets end long-running Silva feud

Published on: 23rd February 2019   |   By: Tim Green   |   Category: Watford FC

Watford and Everton have reached an amicable agreement over the appointment of Marco Silva as Toffees manager, it has been reported.

The Hornets claimed Everton had broken the rules when they tried to sign the Portugese in November 2017.

Silva was sacked just two months later after the Hornets went on a disastrous run of form and he took over at Goodison Park at the start of this campaign.

Watford fans waved snakes at Silva in the two matches against the Merseyside club this season.

Its understood Watford will receive £4 million compensation.
