Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dashcam footage following a suspected road traffic collision in Sarratt.
Officers were called at around 4.35am on Sunday, March 10, following reports that an injured man was lying in Langleybury Lane.
The man, who is aged in his forties, stated that he had been involved in a road traffic collision.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, having sustained a black eye and a cut to his left-hand.
Detective Constable Vanessa Gottmann, from the Three Rivers Local Crime Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing as we work to establish the full circumstances, and I am urging anyone with information to please come forward.
“Were you in the area at the time and saw what happened, or have any further information to help our investigation? Additionally, if you have a dashcam fitted, please check it, as you may have captured some crucial information.
