Residents from both Northwood and Chorleywood are invited to take part in an annual charity walk to raise funds for a local cancer centre.
The Stepping Up For Cancer walk will take place from 11am on Monday, May 6, and will raise money for new scanners and medical research at the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre in Northwood.
The 10km circular trek will begin and end at Chenies village, just outside Chorleywood. Entrants of all ages are welcome to join in.
Caroline Wren, a key fundraiser for the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, said: “Please join us for this fantastic circular walk through the beautiful Chess Valley, starting in the picturesque Chenies village.
“All proceeds go to charity, supporting top quality patient care and medical research that improves outcomes for future patients.”
Entry costs £20 per person, and under-10s go free. The entry fee includes a branded t-shirt, route instructions, a sponsorship form, and access to Chenies Manor Gardens after the walk.
To book your place, call 01923 886315 or go to the scanner centre’s website.
