Police are looking to trace a van that failed to stop after being involved in a road traffic collision that led to a man being hospitalised last month.

The incident occurred at Pinner Green on Wednesday, April 14.

Police were called at 8.29pm to reports of a collision involving a van and a pedal cyclist at the junction of Pinner Hill Road and Uxbridge Road.

The pedestrian, a man aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital. Police said his injuries are not thought to be life-changing and enquiries to trace the vehicle are ongoing.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We sent an ambulance crew, a medic in a car, and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“A man was treated at the scene and taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.”

Road closures were in place at the scene at the time and have since been lifted.
