A woman has been left angry after her car was involved in a hit and run incident in Croxley Green.
The incident took place on Durrants Drive on Tuesday, September 15, at around 6pm and the owner is appealing for anyone who might have seen what happened to report it.
Megan Parkins, 21, who was staying at her boyfriend’s house, was informed by a neighbour of the incident.
She said: “I was inside at the time and had no idea. I had gone to work and come back and not seen it happen.
“A neighbour came round and dropped off her name and number and said that two young girls in a black polo had missed their turning and did a three-point turn and reversed straight into the passenger door.”
Megan added that their neighbour managed to catch the first half of the registration which was RO10.
However, even after her and her partner have spent time driving round the area to find the car, they have been unable to find it.
Megan said that she is upset by the incident which damaged her car which she had spent so long working to be able to afford.
She said: “It is a big deal for me because I got that car myself. I worked really hard to save up and pay a lot of money for it each month.
“It is not right for someone to come along and do that and not take responsibility.”
Herts Police have been contacted for comment.
