A Northwood resident and TV director has played a key part in the launch of a new national mental health campaign.

Sallyann Keizer is a managing director at Sixth Sense Media and a major advocate for young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

With her latest project, she has combined these two passions by directing Here 4 You, a special programme filmed to coincide with the launch of the Here 4 You campaign.

The initiative unites six of the country’s biggest mental health charities to support the wellbeing of young people aged 11 to 14.

The programme, which features music from special guest Tom Grennan, shows young people discussing their mental health struggles with host Roman Kemp.

Debuting on the ITVX streaming service, the programme has been shown to more than 4,000 schools. It also had a star-studded premiere at the Vue cinema in Leicester Square on January 25.

Speaking to Northwood & Ruislip News, Sallyann said: “I feel utter gratitude at the people in my team at Sixth Sense Media for the absolute heart and soul they put into the programme.

“I also have immense hope that with the show, we can reach young people and make sure that they feel represented and heard. They’re at the heart of this, and it has great potential.”

To find out about the campaign, please visit the website, or you can stream the programme on ITVX.
