HELP WANTED: Jobs with a view open as Chorleywood pavilion construction continues

Published on: 28th May 2022   |   By: Bryn Holmes   |   Category: Uncategorized

Village charity Mission EmployAble is offering a new job to “an experienced general manager” who applies for their position at the new cricket clubhouse and café currently under construction on Chorleywood Common.

The organisation, which trains young adults with learning disabilities for the world of work via supported internships, is offering the opportunity to anyone who wishes to go for it, saying the successful applicant will enjoy a beautiful view of the picturesque common alongside.

The café is set to open in the September, along with the clubhouse, which will be run as a joint operation by both Mission EmployAble and Chorleywood Cricket Club.

It will have 30 seats inside, and the general manager is afforded free on-site parking and a real say in the shaping of the café and how it operates.

They can also expect support from a dedicated set of interns, and a management team of an assistant house manager, a head caterer and a training manager directly responsible for co-ordinating the main workforce.

To apply for the role, please email your CV to nfo@missionemployable.co.uk
