Kings Langley Football Club (KLFC) have relaunched their annual winter food donation drive in support of a local foodbank.
At every first team and youth match at the Orbiters Fasteners Stadium, a donation point will be available for fans to donate to Community Foodbank.
A spokesperson for the foodbank said: “We’re appealing to our local communities in Apsley, Bennetts End and Kings Langley for donations of seasonal non-perishable food to spread a little cheer to our foodbank users.
“Thank you to everyone at KLFC and fans for supporting the foodbank. Every donation is much appreciated.”
Jordan Parkes, head coach of the first team, has spoken on the significance of the relationship the club have with the local community.
He said: “It’s really important. I don’t think people realise what the impact of local clubs and communities can do to help charities and organisations. The weather’s turning, things are getting colder and wetter, and it’s time for us all to help the less fortunate out there.”
The donation bin can be found inside the turnstiles ahead of kick off.
