Watford Mencap is showcasing a striking new window display at its Bushey charity shop, lovingly created by shop team member Maddie in honour of Remembrance Sunday.
The display features a thoughtful arrangement of items, including a beautifully styled coat and decorative poppies, all generously loaned by volunteers. These symbolic pieces come together to commemorate and honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served.
Fundraising manager Michelle Hamilton said: “We are so grateful to Maddie for her creativity and to our volunteers for loaning these meaningful items. This display is a heartfelt tribute to Remembrance Sunday and a beautiful reminder of the importance of community and remembrance.”
Members of the public are invited to visit the shop at 36 High Street, Bushey, from 9.30am to 4.30pm to see the display for themselves, reflect, and join the shop in remembrance.
