This year’s Watford Community Family Funday has been hailed as a huge success.
On Saturday, August 17, residents headed to King George V Playing Fields for the annual event, which aims to bring together families, local businesses, and members of the community, organised by Eternity Community CIC and KEL Gospel Ministries.
In attendance were Matt Turmaine, MP for Watford; Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor; and several councillors including Dawn Allen-Williamson, Favour Ezeifedi, Nigel Bell, Ian Stotesbury, and Richard Short.
The event also featured entertainment, including live music performances, dancing, and activities for all ages.
Humphrey David, convener of Watford Community Family Funday, spoke to WATFORDnews and said: “I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who participated, including our special guests, performers, volunteers, and local businesses, whose contributions made the event truly memorable.
“We look forward to organising more events like this in the future to continue strengthening our community.”
