Young Pinner fighter wins big in popular show

A young Pinner student who competes in in the sports of Muay Thai and K1 kickboxing, is fighting his way to the very top after winning a massive title last month.

Jude Smith, 14, from Nower Hill High School, took his early career to new heights on May 12 as he competed in the prestigious Legend Fight Series for the IKF Southern Area Title, taking a split decision win over his opponent in a very hard fought five-round bout.

Legend Fight Series was ranked second place in 2018 for Junior Muay Thai show of the year within its industry and a title win on the show is something much sought after.

The brawler, who competes for Muay Thai, kickboxing and boxing gym, Lions Watford, now holds an enviable record of 5-0 so far this year and also won the European Open in his respective category.

Jude’s stunning performances have earned him the chance to represent Team England in the upcoming World Championships held in Cork, Ireland and he will be hoping to continue his success through to the end of the year.
