How do you respond when someone in your life feels impossible to love? A free public talk in Watford next month will explore that very question, offering thoughtful insights into how anger, hurt, and injustice can be overcome through love.
Taking place on Saturday, March 7 at 2.30pm, the talk, titled ‘Learning to Love Your Enemies’ will be presented by Giulia Nesi Tetreau CSB, a Christian Science practitioner and teacher.
The event is sponsored by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Watford and is open to everyone.
The talk will be held in person at 53 Cassiobury Drive, Watford, WD17 3AD, with a live online option available for those who prefer to join from home on their website.
Drawing on Christian Science teachings, Giulia will explore how being guided by what is described as ‘divine love’ can transform challenging relationships and bring healing, peace, and clarity to everyday life.
Organisers say the talk is designed to be practical, reflective, and relevant – whether listeners are navigating family tensions, workplace conflict, or wider social divisions.
No prior knowledge of Christian Science is needed, and there is no charge to attend.
Organisers warmly invite anyone curious about finding more compassionate ways to respond to life’s challenges to take part, listen, and reflect.
