A support group in Radlett for women who have lost their mothers is inviting others to join.
Lynda Dullop set up the group to help women whose mothers have passed away, having lost her own mum, Beulah Cowen, when she was 15.
Lynda tucked her grief away for many years before experiencing an overwhelming need to use the pain she had experienced to give back in some way.
Beulah’s Legacy was born and a group for motherless daughters of all ages was created.
Lynda told Radlettnews: “It’s not a place to stay stuck in grief – it’s a place to move forward while holding onto the women who shaped us.
“It’s healing, it’s community, it’s love, it’s pain, it’s joy and it’s sadness. And every time we speak our mothers’ names, we bring them back into the light.”
