A Stanmore primary school held its annual summer fair to bring families and the community together.

Whitchurch primary school’s new parent school association Friends of Whitchurch (FOW) held the fair on July 3.

The summer event featured a variety of main stage entertainment from the school choir, orchestra, guitar ensemble, Stagecoach, urban dance, and children’s talent show.

Families also enjoyed spending their tokens at the wide range of stalls including international food and drink, arts and crafts, beauty, and cookery school. The children were excited to meet the local fire brigade and police officers.

A Met Police officer who attended the summer fair said: “It been a pleasure to be here today, there is so much going on it’s great. We’ll be back next year.”

A new Parent, whose child is starting in September said: “Thank you for inviting us to this event, it has been such a great day, there was so much to do and this really helps getting to know everyone, FOW are doing a great job.”

Another parent added: “Well done to FOW for organising such a great event, so glad you’re back, my kids have had so much fun I can’t get them to leave.”
