A resubmitted plan to build 195 homes south of Shenley Hill has again received a wave of objections.
In the November edition of Radlett News, we reported that Fairfax Properties had submitted a new application for the site.
The first application received 2,812 objections and two comments of support on the Hertsmere planning portal.
The new application for 62 two-bed houses, 69 three-bed houses, 23 four-bed houses and 41 apartments has received 2,444 objections and one comment of support.
A response from Aldenham Parish Council on Thursday, October 24, said: “Such a significant increase in Radlett’s housing will no doubt give rise to further pressures on local infrastructure.”
Hertsmere Borough Council also objected to the plans in principle on Wednesday, November 20, saying there was “no evidenced changes for the development” compared to the first application.
Fairfax has been contacted for comment.
