Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a hate incident is reported to have occurred in Watford.
The incident took place between 6.20pm and 6.40pm on Friday, August 9, outside the Morrisons Supermarket in Ascot Road.
The victim came out of the supermarket and was approached by one of two offenders, who reportedly shouted racist comments. The victim went back in to the store until she believed they had gone.
Leaving the supermarket minutes later, she walked towards the cashpoint where the second offender shouted further racist remarks.
Watford and Three Rivers Hate Crime Officer PC Danielle Murphy said: “The victim has obviously been left upset by this incident and she is being supported by the Hate Crime Team. I am appealing for members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with dashcams fitted to their vehicles who were in the area at the time to check if they have captured footage that could help the investigation.
