Hard work has paid off spectacularly at Haberdashers’ Elstree Schools this year, as 38 students are celebrating offers from prestigious Oxbridge universities.
Eight students secured places at the University of Oxford and 29 at the University of Cambridge for entry in 2026, marking a proud moment for both Elstree schools.
Offers span an impressive range of subjects, from architecture, Asian and Middle Eastern studies, chemical engineering, law, medicine, PPE, and many others, reflecting both perseverance and remarkable talent.
Miss Sophie Revens, head of futures at Haberdashers’ Boys’, told Radlettnews: “We are thrilled that the students have achieved such outstanding offers. It is a testament to their hard work, determination and ambition.”
Mr Richard Silverman, head of futures at Haberdashers’ Girls’, praised interview success rates of 58 per cent at Oxford and 76 per cent at Cambridge, adding that the Futures Team will continue guiding students towards leading universities and aspirational pathways.
