A Watford café has been named the best breakfast in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Eats and Treats on St Albans Road won the accolade on Andy Collins’ BBC Three Counties Radio show on Thursday, July 17, after going head-to-head with other local cafés and being crowned the full English champions.
The business, which has been based in Watford for 28 years, was recognised for its generous portions, friendly customer focus and quality service.
Established in 1997, the café provided the food for the Harry Potter sets and has served food to a number of famous faces over the years.
Speaking to WATFORDnews, Lyn said: “Since being here over 28 years now, things have changed around us, so promoting our breakfast on the radio station helped us.
“We have so much to offer people as we care for our customers and know most by first name.
“My husband Barrie is very proud that he has achieved this in his life.”
