Having “grown and reinvented” itself over 42 years, the Bushey Festival is set to return this summer, culminating in the Festival in the Park in King George Recreation Ground on Sunday, July 13.
Previous years have seen the likes of Chris Packham CBE, politician Shirley Williams and plenty of other celebrities providing superb entertainment.
However, the successful event relies on volunteers to keep costs down and ensure the festival can keep running for future generations.
The committee is looking for volunteers to run three-hour shifts throughout the day.
There are also opportunities to join the committee throughout the year to learn and perfect skills such as social media, project management, and finance.
Speaking to BUSHEYnews, a spokesperson for the festival shared: “As someone who has been on the committee for eight years, and as a volunteer myself, it is a fun event to be part of and very professionally organised.
“We would ask you to help your community and give three hours to assist with this prestigious event which is the very fabric of our Bushey community.”
