Residents will be able to buy artwork created by other locals at an upcoming exhibition.
Rickmansworth & District Art Society (RADAS) is holding an exhibition and sale of work at Chorleywood Community Arts Centre from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, November 22, and 12pm to 4pm on Sunday, November 23. Entry is free.
Visitors will be able to view a range of original art created by RADAS members, from linocuts to oil paintings. There will also be greetings cards and a variety of other items, many of them handmade.
Morag Watkins, who is co ordinating the exhibition, said: “There is always great excitement among members at seeing their work displayed alongside other artists. Right now, everyone is busy finishing things off, adding final touches to the picture and framing so that everything is ready for our exhibition and the thrill of hearing the public comments about our pieces.”
RADAS aims to inspire and encourage local artists by hosting demonstrations by professional artists on the first Thursday each month, as well as creative sessions a couple of times a year.
