This year’s Skate Jam in Croxley Green has been hailed a success after more than 150 people enjoyed a fun-filled day.
With competitions in scooting, skating and BMXing, spectators were treated to a host of wheeled skills and tricks at the popular annual event.
Skate Jam, organised by Three Rivers District Council (TRDC) with support from ABC Skateboarding, and sponsored by Croxley Green Parish Council, took place on Saturday, August 16.
Councillor Stephen King, chair of TRDC, attended to hand out prizes to the winners.
Also in attendance was Croxley resident Reece Dabreo, fresh off finishing in third place at the 2025 Lloyds BMX Freestyle National Championship, who gave an exciting demonstration to the crowds.
Alongside the competitions, there were free skate lessons from ABC Skateboarding, music, a pop-up football dartboard, and meal deals provided by The Corner Plaice.
Speaking ahead of the Skate Jam, councillor Chris Lloyd said: “It is a great local event which has proven popular with skaters and spectators for over a decade.”
