Northwood residents have evaluated their GP surgeries as part of a national survey.
As part of the GP Patient Survey 2024, Mountwood Surgery, Eastbury Surgery, Acre Surgery and Carepoint Practice have all received feedback from patients and also filled out an annual questionnaire.
Overall, 71 per cent of participants who use Mountwood stated that their overall experience of the practice was good, only slightly below the national average of 74 per cent.
Meanwhile, Eastbury was rated at 74 per cent, Acre at 64 per cent, and Carepoint at 77 per cent.
All the surgeries were praised by those with long-term illnesses for the support they have received in helping them to manage their conditions.
However, two common complaints were with issues regarding getting in touch with the surgeries for appointments, and that patients found it difficult to see their preferred healthcare professional.
All of the surgeries have been contacted for comment.
