Kings Langley FC put four goals past league leaders Rushall Olympic FC, which knocked them off the top spot yesterday (October 12).
It only took The Lango seven minutes to take the lead on home soil when Gary Conolly’ shot was deflected past the keeper.
Soon after, footballing veteran Lloyd Doyley picked up an injury and was forced to be subbed off which saw Bradley Wadkins make his debut appearance.
Steve Ward made the score line 2-0 when a penalty was awarded after a late challenge.
Ward was able to slot it straight down the middle as the keeper dived too early.
Less than five minutes in the first half to go, Josh Coldicott-Steven comfortably puts Kings Langley 3-0 ahead with a lovely curling shot that goes into the bottom corner.
In the 92nd minute Louie Collier fires a powerful strike into the top corner to round off a well-worked performance.
Next Saturday (October 19) The Lango have an FA Cup away tie against Maidstone – if they progress, they will reach the First Round Proper.
