Chalfont St Peter put in a sublime performance tonight (September 17) over struggling side Hertford Town in the BetVictor Isthmian South Central Division.
Dan Williams put in a man of the match performance netting a hattrick within 30 minutes.
His first goal was just 20 seconds after the ref blew his whistle for kick off, his second was followed up by calmly slotting the ball around the keeper and his third was a curled shot into the keepers bottom right corner.
The score line could have been more, but The Saints were denied by the crossbar.
Hertford showed good spells and were awarded a penalty which was saved by the quick-thinking Daniel Purdue.
Luke Illsley (63′) scored a lovely dinked header to make it four for The Saints and Kahlil Francis (83′) also made the score line.
For Hertford there was some consolation in the form of a goal from Prince William Domafriyie.
The Saints sit in 4th in the league and will face Bracknell Town at home on Saturday, September 21.
