GLOBAL SUMMIT: Final preparations in place as NATO leaders come to Watford

Some of the world’s most powerful leaders are coming to Watford tomorrow (Wednesday) as the NATO summit takes place at The Grove Hotel.

Donald Trump, President of the United States, will be among those at the event where member states of the world’s largest and most powerful military alliance will be meeting to discuss security.

Road closures are already in place.

Grove Mill Lane will be closed until December 4 at 8pm. Fir Tree Hill and Langleybury Lane will be closed until December 4 8pm

Hempstead Road between Hunton Bridge Roundabout and Courtlands Drive will be closed from 11pm tonight (Tuesday) to 11.59pm tomorrow (Wednesday)

There is also a scheduled diversion via A41 to The Dome roundabout, A412 St Albans Road to Town Hall roundabout and A411 Hempstead Road.

Finally, rights of way across The Grove Hotel will be closed from 4pm this afternoon (Tuesday) to 8pm tomorrow (Wednesday)
