The Croxley Guild of Sport & Social Club is delighted with the new improvements to its village base, which includes a full kitchen refurbishment as well as an all-new beer cellar.
Bob Dingley, club house chairman, said: “The club over the years has not been able to update the facilities of the clubhouse building, but through careful financial controls over the past few years, we are able to embark on a major refurbishing programme to improve the core facilities for our membership and visitors.”
The guild is thrilled to announce the completed refurbishment of the ladies’ bathroom, baby changing facilities and wheelchair access, as well as future plans for a refit of the beer cellar.
The past four months have seen upgrades to the building’s electrics, which are set to be completed by the end of November.
Bob said: “We believe that these and future enhancements will provide a positive experience to all who visit Croxley Guild. Come and visit us, look out for a jam-packed three months of events being held at the guild for all the family. Membership is available to all, so why not join us on our journey to provide the local community with a great place to be part of.”
On Sunday, November 26, the guild is opening its doors for its annual Christmas fair, where visitors can see the new upgrades as well as enjoy a variety of local stalls selling arts and crafts, sweet treats, toys and jewellery, as well as the guild’s own stall selling homemade mulled wine.
