Croxley Guild of Sport & Social Club are inviting residents to spend St George’s Day with them and enjoy celebrations, special performances, and a re-enactment.
The social club is a not-for-profit community club situated just off The Green in Croxley.
To celebrate the special day on Wednesday, April 23, they will be holding a special promotion on a selection of drinks and have invited the Croxley Mummers to perform their unique re-enactment of St George and the Dragon.
They are also pleased to have secured the popular cover band Dizzy Fish to perform on the evening of Saturday, April 26, from 8.30pm.
This accomplished four-piece band covers everything from 60s to present day, and have recently supported Johnny Marr, Bad Manners and Noel Gallagher.
Both events are open to non-members for a nominal charge, and they will also be holding a beer festival over the late May bank holiday weekend.
The details and timing are still to be confirmed. Please visit www.croxleyguild.com for updates.
