The Manor Elstree is hosting a family afternoon tea event alongside Cure Cancer to raise money for the UCL Cancer Institute.
In March’s RADLETTnews, we reported that Cure Cancer had hosted a spiritual training workshop at The Manor Elstree on Monday, March 17.
The charity is now returning to raise more money through an afternoon tea on Saturday, April 26.
Also supported by Benjamin Stevens Estate Agents, the fundraiser is attempting to raise the £8,600 needed for a PromethION 2 Solo device, which speeds up the process of analysing cancer cells.
Bob Blackman CBE, MP for Harrow East, has been invited to the event, which promises to have something for both adults and children.
The event will feature a bouncy castle, games for children, face painting, free tasters of alcoholic and non-alcoholic gin, food, and more. There will also be a raffle and auction with prizes including an overnight stay in Rome.
The fundraiser starts at 1pm and finishes at 5pm. For more information and to buy your tickets, head to www.shorturl.at/OeMPg
