A team of runners joined a 300-mile relay across the country and raised almost £2,000 for Watford homeless charity New Hope.
National law firm VWV set off from Birmingham on Tuesday, June 17, running along the Grand Union Canal and stopping at their offices in London, Watford and Henleaze before arriving at their Bristol office on Friday, June 20.
Richard Phillips, office partner at VWV Watford, completed the overnight leg from Cheddington to Berkhamsted.
He explained: “When we adopt a charity, we take it to heart. We are motivated to raise as much money as we can because of the amazing work New Hope is doing in Watford. We want to help and be part of that.”
New Hope supports those experiencing homelessness by offering shelter, food, clothing, and counselling five days a week.
At the time of writing, the fundraiser sits at £1,827. To donate, please visit www.shorturl.at/GL1n5
