Earlier this month more than a thousand runners took part in the Berkhamsted Rotary Half Marathon and Fun Run.
The event held on March 6 marked the 39th anniversary of the event with the runners taking on the course which started at Berkhamsted Cricket Club.
Fun Runners and Half Marathon runners set off at different times, through the town and up to Potten End and the Common.
Fun Runners branched off to complete their five-mile course, down New Road. The course for Half Marathon runners continued up through Nettleden and up to Little Gaddesden with a return past Ashridge House.
Ticket proceeds from the event will go to local charities, with organisers thanking those who helped make the event possible.
Berkhamsted Rotary acknowledges the help provided by sponsors of the event and others who gave of their time, transportation and materials to ensure a joyous start to spring.
