Residents came together last month to raise money for the Hospice of St Francis by taking part in a family-friendly Bubble Rush event in Hemel Hempstead.
The event took place at Drift Limits Motorsport Academy on Upper Bourne End Lane on Sunday, May 14, and involved a 5km fun run through foamy bubbles as well as entertainment and music.
Sponsored by Hey Broadband, the event raised nearly £50,000.
One supporter said on social media: “Bubble Rush is my favourite day of the year.”
Accountants Haines Watts Berkhamsted said: “Much fun in the foam for our director Bianca at last weekend’s Bubble Rush! All in aid of the Hospice of St Francis – a brilliant day.”
The Hospice of St Francis is a charity which helps thousands of local people who are managing or recovering from serious illness.
