Members of Abbots Langley Gilbert & Sullivan Society are preparing for their upcoming performance.
The society puts on shows every year, most frequently operas written by noted American dramatist and composer duo Sir W. S. Gilbert and Sir Arthur Sullivan, such as The Pirates of Penzance, The Mikado and H.M.S. Pinafore.
The society, which is made up of local residents, has been part of village life for more than 70 years.
Tickets are now available for this year’s performance, Comedy Tonight, a musical compilation of comedy songs through the ages. It will take place at the Henderson Hub from Thursday, June 22, to Saturday, June 24.
