FUN DAY: The Christ First Hub in Croxley Green to hold event prior to Mother’s Day

Published on: 4th March 2020   |   By: Amneet Kaur   |   Category: Uncategorized

The Watford and Rickmansworth’s Creation Station will be coming to Christ First Hub in Croxley Green to hold an artsy event to create Mother’s Day keepsakes, a day prior.

The event will take place on Saturday March 21, from 2pm to 3.15pm.

This is a great opportunity for children to spend some time with their families and create keepsakes for mums, grandmas or nannies.

It could also be taken as an opportunity to spend some father-child time together, being creative and making a personalised gift that will show the mum it’s dedicated to how appreciated she is.

During the session help will be provided by the organisers, who will be there to guide you.

Attendees will decorate a Mother’s Day card and stretched canvas, using all the material provided. These will all be included in the booking fee of £9.

Lyn Quinn, who runs The Creation Station, said: “I think there is so much good and positive work going on, but I speak to many people who understand the need to develop children’s creativity to inspire young minds and that’s where The Creation Station comes in, helping children learn through play.

“This is the first time we have held this event in the Croxley area.

“I am looking to host regular events in the Croxley area, such as family fun activities, providing themed arts and crafts for ages 2-11 years, especially during half term and summer holidays.”

Many items will also be on sale, such as large canvases, wooden hanging hearts, canvas bags, picture frames, photo holders, treasure boxes and keyrings.
