A much-loved teacher who has been in charge of a Rickmansworth nursery since 2002 has decided to retire.
Jane Herman has been in charge of Rickmansworth Nursery School for 20 years, and in that time she has overseen the early years development of more than 600 children in the area.
Her dedication to the role has also meant that since 2011, the nursery has consistently been scored as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, the highest ranking possible.
Her colleague, Amanda Dunn said to RICKYnews: “She not only nurtures the children in the setting but her colleagues too, showing her caring and understanding and bringing the best out of everyone.
“She will be greatly missed by the staff and children.”
