Around 500 people attended Reveley Lodge in Bushey for the annual National Garden Scheme, which featured stalls, flowers and gifts.
The 2.5-acre gardens surround a Grade II listed Victorian house and feature a restored 50ft conservatory and flourishing garden.
Creating the soundtrack to a remarkable day, The Shambles Big Band played throughout the event while visitors tucked into a variety of cakes.
Speaking to Busheynews, Granville Taylor, chairman of Reveley Trustees, said: “More and more local people are learning that Reveley is open daily and how it would not even be here were it not for the number of volunteers who keep it going.”
