A mum and daughter were left shaken after two youngsters attempted to throw a brick from a bridge on their car as it was approaching.
The incident happened on January 31 and the mum, from Garston, who wishes to remain anonymous, said the two youngsters were wearing black clothing and looked to be 9 to 13 years of age.
Speaking to GarstonNews, she said: “They threw the brick off the bridge going over from Costcutter shops (over A41) to Leggatts.
“Luckily I pre empt what he was about to do and slammed my brakes on. Whatever it was would’ve fallen straight on my car. It was a horrible experience.
“It landed on the ground and it broke in pieces so whatever it was, large stone or brick, it was quite heavy.”
The mum explained her daughter (17) is learning how to drive and if it was her driving that day things could have gone way worse.
She is encouraging parents to speak to their children and make sure they know about the consequences of their actions.
