Dacorum detectives have put out another appeal for both witnesses and information concerning an assault following a boxing event in Berkhamsted.
Taking place at around 9pm on Saturday, April 2, in the rear car park of Berkhamsted Sports Centre, the assault occurred after a verbal altercation with a group of males, which led to a man being punched in the mouth.
The victim was left with a broken jaw and needing extensive and potentially life-changing surgery.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Karen Jordan: “The incident occurred following a boxing event at the location, so there were a lot of people at the venue at the time.
“We are hoping that someone may have seen the assault or may have other information which will help our investigation. If you were in the area at the time and saw the incident, or the events prior to it, please get in touch.”
