A St Albans mum has been left incredibly proud after her four year old daughter donated eight inches of her hair to Little Princess Trust.

Emily Wyeth was really excited to get her hair cut off said her mum, Susie who thinks she will now be inspired to do other things for charity.

Susie explained: “She grew her hair for ages and was really on board when we mentioned donating it to girls who are ill and have lost their hair.

“She has really taken in what she has done and is so proud of herself, she loves telling people about it and loves receiving compliments about her new hair.

“I think she would be interested in doing it again and it would probably inspire her to do other things for charity.”

Little Princess Trust (LPT) provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24, who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other conditions.

Susie who credited LPT for the amazing work they do said “it is such a big change for her at that age but she has done it for such a great cause – I am so proud.”
