A Dacorum Drink Drive operation in Kings Langley and Apsley ended with worrying results on December 8.
Four people throughout the night were arrested on a variety of drug and drink charges.
The operation saw over 100 vehicles being stopped at the control point, where drivers were spoken too.
One person was arrested for driving whilst under the influence after providing a positive roadside breath test which was over the legal drink drive limit of 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.
Two drivers were arrested after a positive roadside swab test for cannabis was found.
One of the checks ended up with the driver being arrested for driving without a full driving licence and insurance. The vehicle was also seized.
Another person was arrested on possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. Their vehicle was also seized after checks revealed they had no insurance.
Officers were amazed by the positive response that officers received from members of the public regarding the campaign and them being stopped.
