FOOTY FUNDRAISER: Amersham Town Football Charity game for Ukrainian refugees

Amersham Town Football Club is gearing up for the end of the season by hosting a charity football games in support of Ukrainian refugees.

A veterans charity game involving former Amersham players in aid of the Ukrainian refugees will take place at Spratleys Meadow on Thursday April 28, which will kick off 7.30pm. 

A £5 donation at the gate will be suggested and the bar and refreshments will be available. 

Club Chairman Simon Damery will be amongst the players and the event is being organised by former players, Steve White, and Mick Ward.

Steve said: “It seemed an excellent idea to bring together players who have played for Amersham Town in the past for this very worthwhile cause. 

“I hope that the people of Amersham and Chesham will give us their full support.” Further details will be on the Amersham Town FC website.”
