Published on: 12th April 2024   |   By: Panayiota Demosthenous   |   Category: Uncategorized

A beloved pub and beer shop in Pinner has closed due to difficult trading conditions.

Beer Asylum in Pinner opened just eight years ago. Since then, the business has continued to grow and even earned several awards, including two CAMRA Best Pub of the Year Harrow awards and Best Bar None Best Small Bar 2018.

The pub had always boasted a lively social calendar of events, and was known for offering local as well as craft beers from all over the world.

Residents were saddened to hear the news that the pub would be closing.

Posting on social media last month, the pub said: “Due to continued difficult trading conditions, unfortunately, the Beer Asylum will close its doors for the last time on Friday, March 29.

“After nearly eight years, 199 beer and food pairings, two CAMRA Harrow Pub of the Year awards, Best Bar None Best Small Bar Harrow and multiple accreditations, it’s time to say farewell.

“Thank you for all our customers.”

One commenter said: “That’s sad to hear – a wonderful place with great staff.”
