CHARITY SINGLE: Garston man set to release new hit to help local charities

Published on: 4th September 2019   |   By: News Desk   |   Category: Uncategorized

A Garston man has made it his aim to raise as much money as possible for two charities close to his heart through the power of music.

Jeff Holliman, 61, is launching his track Words later this month with all funds from the single being donated to Peace Hospice and Cancer Research UK.

Jeff opened up about the personal reason behind the choice of charities.

He said: “Both of the charities have a place close to my heart and they both mean a lot to me. Peace looked after mum in the last couple of days before she died and cancer has affected people in my family like many others over the world.

“I wanted to do something for charity and thought writing and releasing a song for people to enjoy while raising money was the perfect match.

“Both charities do amazing work and everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer so knowing the money will be going towards that is amazing.”

Jeff, who has been living in Garston for over 20 years, was a finalist in a song writing competition last year.

The love song is getting released on Sunday, September 29, which is Jeff’s 62nd birthday and will be available to buy on iTunes, Google Music and Amazon Music.
