Watford FC will start life back in the Championship at home against Middlesbrough on the weekend commencing September 12, after the fixtures were announced on Friday morning.
Middlesbrough appointed Neil Warnock as manager towards the end of last season, and he steered them to a 17th placed finish after taking charge whilst the club were in the relegation area.
Watford have a good recent record against Middlesbrough, having won four and drawn three in their last seven games against them.
New Watford manager Vladimir Ivic will have his first away game against Sheffield Wednesday, before welcoming local rivals Luton Town to Vicarage Road the weekend after.
The Hornets are set to finish the campaign against last season’s play-off semi-finalists Swansea City.
All fixtures are subject to change for UK live broadcast.
